Brave firewalk fundraisers collect £50,000 for hospices

Pilgrims Hospices’ first firewalk raised an incredible £50,000.

It was staged at Holiday Extras, Ashford Road, Newingreen, near Hythe back in March.

Pilgrims has thanked all the firewalkers who hot-footed across the red-hot coals and their friends and family who came along to support them.

Robert Grew, event fundraiser for Pilgrims Hospices said: “All those involved deserved to feel very proud, not only did they conquer the most primal of fears, but together, the money they raised will pay for more than 2,500 hours of nursing care.”

More firewalks will be held next March
