Aldington residents celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday with a vintage tea party.
Some 50 people gathered at the village hall on Saturday for sandwiches, tea and homemade cakes.
It was organised by the local WI, whose president Anna Ross said: “It was really fantastic. I think everyone had a wonderful time and it was really nice for residents and neighbours to be able to catch up and spend time together.
“There was a lot of hard work that went into it, but it really paid off.
“I’m sure it’s going to be a party that will be talked about for a long time, it was just about perfect.”
