Taster session for food safety

As part of Food Safety Week, Ashford Borough Council hosts a food safety community day to help the public better understand the food labels printed on their food and drink products. People can learn the difference between use by, best before and display until dates, as well as get advice on how you can love food, hate waste by making the most of your food and leftovers. The event takes place at County Square on Tuesday, July 5 from 9.30am to 3pm, and Wednesday, July 6 from 9am to 1.30pm Tips and advice on what can and cannot be placed in your food waste bin can be found at ashford.gov.uk/waste
