Party time for market’s anniversary
Ashford Farmers’ Market marks its second anniversary this weekend.
A celebratory market will be held on Sunday from 10am to 2pm on t h e L o we r High Street, featuring everything from homemade delights by regular traders to music and entertainment from local artists.
A host of new guest traders will be joining the regulars, adding to the range of sweet and savoury treats.
Visitors can pick up cider from Gibbet Oak Cider, a sweet treat from Deelicious Cakes and some international delights from The French Delicatessen.
Ritoweg Farm and Stour Valley Game who specialise in exotic meats, as well as Romney Marsh Brewery who will be selling their locally brewed ale and beers at a pop-up bar.
There will also be free samples of Mead for visitors to try at the Loveashford stall t o celebrate t he market’s second anniversary.
A selection of street food will be on offer to tempt visitors.
Park Mall’s new tearoom, The Little Teapot, which opens for business on July 11 will also be at t h e market , offering up a selection of homemade cakes and cookies for visitors to sample ahead of their opening.
