Superheroes unite for fundraiser

-

Four-legged superheroes and their owners are invited to take part in a fundraising walk in aid of Ashford Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The Dogs Unite event is being held for the second year running at Godmersham Park, off the A28 near Bilting, on Sunday, July 17.

Dogs and owners are urged to wear superhero outfits. Participation is free but entrants are asked to try and raise at least £35 in sponsorship – enough to support a guide dogs partnership for a week.

The event will involve a walk around Godmersham Park, with special access to the mansion and grounds.

Those not interested in raising sponsorship can register on the day, with a recommended donation of £25.

Sign-in is from 10am at the venue’s Association of British Dispensing Opticians College, with the walk over either a twomile or four-mile route starting at 11am.

Tea and cakes will be available afterwards.
