Kestrel clinch medal haul

Kestrel gym­nasts won 13 medals and eight rosettes at the Kent Floor and Vault Cham­pi­onships. The Ten­ter­den-based club had more than 30 young­sters tak­ing part and head coach Gary Craw­ford was full praise and proud of all their ef­forts. Imo­gen Bar­ber, Nathan Kemp, Os­car Howitt-Ri­ley, Nico Kent and Wil­liam Gayson won golds, with Emily Burns, Pearl Dur­rand, Luca King, Noah Smout and Ben­jamin Rooke claim­ing sil­vers. Sum­mer Greenwood, Honey-Safia Mead and Lia Craw­ford all clinched bronze medals. Rosettes were won by Har­mony Car­roi and Si­enna Kemp, who both fin­ished fourth, fifth-placed Is­abella Fice­tola, Kitty Cot­terell, and So­phie Pax­ton, with three more young­sters, Brooke Maguire, Mil­lie Wood and Molly Par­sons who were sixth. The club are look­ing for big­ger premises al­low­ing them to train seven days a week.
