Have last say on Local Plan

You only have a few weeks left to have your say on the Local Plan to 2030 consultation.

Ashford Borough Council (ABC) is currently preparing a new Local Plan for the borough and the draft proposals are out for public consultation until Wednesday, August 10.

A series of consultation events have been held across the borough and information is also available on the council’s website: www.ashford.gov.uk/localplan-2030

Cllr Mike Bennett, ABC portfolio holder for planning and development, said: “The Local Plan will shape how our borough will look in the future so it is important the whole community is involved in how it is developed.

“We’ve received several hundred representations so far, but with two weeks left there is still time to have your say.

“We want as many people as possible to engage in the preparation of the Local Plan so we can shape our future together.”
