Runners help cancer charity

Members of Sellindge Primary School’s running club have taken part in a Race For Life.

The children ran laps of the school field, completing up to 3km each.

Between them, they managed to raise £459 for Cancer Research.

Rosie Maynard, class teacher and the club organiser, said: “I am so proud of each one of the children. This is a charity very close to my heart.

“We have been working hard in running club every week and it was fantastic to watch them enjoying being active and helping to save lives at the same time.”
