Delight at tee time turnout

Shotgun golfers helped raise thousands of pounds for charity at an event organised by Rift Accounting. The event at Ashford Golf Club attracted 84 golfers who teed off at various holes on the course all at the same time. In total they raised £6,500 to the Lighthouse Club, a charity which supports construction workers and their families. Rift Accounting boss Jan Post said she was delighted with the turnout and now hopes to repeat the event each year.
