Abigail wins beauty title
A Willesborough beauty is celebrating after being crowned Miss Teen Ashford.
Former North School pupil Abigail Beaufils, 17, will now go on to represent the town in The Miss Teen Great Britain final in Blackpool, this October.
Abigail, who is due to start an apprenticeship with Thomas Cook this September, said: “I have seen off hundreds of teens from across Great Britain to make it to the final.
“I entered to gain a lot more self-belief and to meet other girls with the same aspirations as myself.
“Its been an amazing experience already. I have learned so much about myself and gained so much confidence.”
Abigail has been raising money for the children’s charity Together For Short Lives.
The grand finalists will take part in a range of activities, including a beauty queen challenge day, photoshoots and interviews.
The winner will walk away with £1,000, dresses from The Dress Studio, a crown and much more.
