Praise for water firm

South East Water has been praised for its innovative work in improving customer service and dealing with complaints.

For the fifth year running, new initiative­s introduced by the company have reduced customer complaints.

And now South East Water’s efforts have received a special mention in a report released yesterday (Wednesday) by independen­t water watchdog, the Consumer Council for Water ( CCWater). The company achieved the greatest reduction in complaints nationwide for the third year running - down 38.2%.

Sir Tony Redmond, London and South East Chair of CCWater said: “We are delighted that South East Water has managed to turn around its performanc­e.”
