Darren Brown grabbed a hat-trick as early season leaders Kennington Reserves made it three wins out of three by beating Tenterden Reserves 4-2.

Joe Edwards added Kennington’s other goal.

James Hughes scored twice as AFC Ashford Athletic Reserves beat Woodchurch by the same score.

Brad Passey fired them in front with a speculativ­e shot from his own half that looped over the six-foot plus visiting keeper and found the top corner.

Bobby Godden added the second, tapping Mikey Harris’ drive into the bottom right-hand corner.

Hughes made it 3-0, picking the ball up in the opposition half, before driving forward and scoring from 20 yards.

Woodchurch pulled two goals back, before Hughes got his second, sending his curling free-kick over the wall.
