Variety of styles in art exhibition

An exhibition of work by Kent’s young artists will be start on Monday at County Hall, in Maidstone.

Their work is a result of the annual John Downton Awards for Young Artists and includes photos, mixed media and paintings.

From the 345 pupils from 28 schools and colleges who entered the competition, 97 artworks have been selected for the exhibition. Winners will be announced at an awards evening on Thursday, November 10.
