Craft fair boost for appeal

-

Norton Knatchbull School’s first craft fair was hailed a success.

The event at the school in Hythe Road, Ashford, on Sunday attracted 20 stalls selling gifts, clothing, handmade homeware and dog treats.

There was also a tearoom for the day offering cakes and refreshments.

Sarah Moir, the school’s business development officer, said: “We had a fantastic day and would like to thank all those that baked, helped, came along, took stalls and enjoyed the cakes.

“The event was to raise funds for our school appeal for a new creative arts centre.”
