Team tests therapy for cancer patients

-

With October being Cancer Awareness month, Clare Singleton owner of The Granary Spa, in Great Chart, felt it would be a good time to close the venue and train her team of therapists in the new Cancer Touch Therapy treatment.

The three-day intensive training course they completed is accredited by the Complementary Medical Association and has been designed in conjunction with Spiezia Organic products.

Clare and her team say the training has enhanced and devel- oped their knowledge to now treat clients during their whole cancer journey.

She said: “During this training we worked with a variety of clients that had different types of cancer and who are also enduring medical treatments. The feedback from this new touch therapy was very special, the clients felt we took them away from their day to day situation and escape to a world of relaxation.”
