Keeper scores one and creates another

South Willesborough Warriors goalkeeper Charlie Draper celebrated scoring one goal and setting-up another as his side beat Lydd Town 3rds 4-2. Draper netted the first after his huge kick downfield bounced just outside the area, before deceiving his opposite number and a defender to finish in the back of the net. Lydd then had a player sent off before Willes substitute Connor Howell came off the bench to score his first for the club on his debut to make it 2-0 after an hour. Lydd pulled one back from the penalty spot, and then got a second. But Jack Burdon latched onto another big clearance by Draper to make it 3-2, before adding the fourth, coutesy of the game’s second spot-kick. Dave Law scored twice as Smarden beat Tenterden Town 3-2 to move top of the Premier Division. Former Tenterden defender George Dyke got the other with Harry Hunt and Gary Penfold netting for Town. Ryan Strand bagged four goals and Steve Johnson and Darren Brown both grabbed hat-tricks as Kennington Reserves trounced Biddenden 14-2. James Hughes scored twice including a penalty, as leaders AFC Ashford Athletic Reserves won 3-1 at Smeeth & Brabourne. Brad Webber got the third.
