Gary Clarke scored his first goals for Brewmaster in over a year as his team won their allAshford tie against Troggs 6-1 to go through to the third round.

Clarke, who has missed the best part of a year with a back injury, scored twice for Brews as they raced into a 4-1 half-time lead. Brother Matt Clarke also scored twice, while an own-goal and a Tom Poyner effort sealed the win. Chris Dyer replied for Troggs.

Mersham Sports and Hamstreet both crashed out. Mersham lost 3-0 at home to West Kent League side Insulators, while Hamstreet were beaten 8-3 at Maidstone League team Aylesford – goals from Adam Roffey (2) and James Bass not enough.
