Gary Lockyer hit six as Market Hotel beat New Romney 9-0 to move into the quarter-finals.

Matt Collins shared the goalscorin­g honours with a hat-trick.

Ashford Cavaliers suffered their first defeat, losing 3-1 in their first round tie against Shepway Spartans.

Matt Moon’s 22nd goal of the season pulled one back after Spartans raced into a 3-0 lead.

John Smith scored twice after Tony Dunham got Spartans opener, as they confirmed their last-16 spot. Josh Knight hit four for Ashtone Galacticos as they went top again, beating overnight leaders Bromley Green 7-5.

Dan Pinder’s double and ShaunJenni­ngs-McArdle were also on target.

Matt Wedge (2, including a penalty), Connor Gower, Levii Loyza and Liam Dadd netted for Green.

Liam Sheldon-Smith scored two late goals for Stour Valley as the Reds beat Fox Sunday 3-2 at Swan Lane to record their first league win. Jordan Horne got the other. Matt Dorset and Tom Wilmshurst netted for Fox.

Chris Arnold scored twice as White Horse beat bottom-side Troggs Reserves 5-1.

Dane Bond, Matt Shearman and Josh Keeling added the others with Stoian Aurel getting Troggs’ reply.

Asa McKenzie scored his first goal for new club Ashford Spartans in their 2-2 draw against Kingsnorth Pilgrims.

Ben Deeble-Rogers added the other with Jack Bushell and top scorer Matt Jackson, with a late equaliser, earning Pilgrims a point

Tyrone Beech’s injury-time winner earned Aldington their 1-0 win over Ashford United Colts.

The game looked like ending in a goalless stalemate before Beech netted after the otherwise excellent Ashford goalkeeper spilt Dan Rose’s long throw.
