‘He brought a smile to everyone’s face’

His wife Dee, 51, paid tribute to her beloved husband. The couple had 11 sons between them.

She said: “I met Danny 25 years ago at a karaoke night and we were married for 15 years.

“He took my six children on, we had one son together and he already had four boys, so we had 11 between us.

“Danny just brought a smile to everyone’s face. He was very family-orientated, everything was for the family, and he would give anyone his last penny.

“Everyone knew him. Everywhere he went, if he was talking to someone he had never met, by the time he left they were best buddies.

“He loved having his children and grandchildren around him.

“We had our ups and downs, as any couple does, but we had a very good life together. I miss him very much and he is going to be very much missed by all his family and friends.”
