Danny Gibbs was a well known face at Ashford Market and was remembered fondly by other traders.
Market manager Ray Scott said: “I have known Danny for years and years.
“He was a nice guy and he was well known and well liked around the market. He was a real market man, he knew everyone around there.
“He kept coming to the market right up until the end – even when he was in a wheelchair, he still came down.
“He always had time to talk to people and he will be very much missed around here.”
