Artist spreads the love

-

A popular local artist has given a voice to artists with a special St Valentine’s Day doodle.

Doodle Man, aka Sam Cox, created the huge art piece for Bauhaus Cafe in North Street, Ashford.

The Tenterden artist last Tuesday covered the walls of the town’s new cafe gallery in his unique style.

He said the idea was to spread love and awareness of young artists in the town.

He said: “It is great to have a space in Ashford for artists to have a voice as there is nothing else.

“Most of us don’t have the space at home and some can’t afford the expenses of an exhibition, and it sometimes gets overwhelming.

“Here at Bauhaus Cafe you can get help and advice, and an exhibition space but we really want to involve local businesses and art lovers to come and support resident artists and makers to have a platform.
