City runners making news

Thousands of runners, including scores from this area, will be pounding the streets of the capital in the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday, April 24.

For most it offers the chance to raise cash for a chosen charity, with last year’s race raising £50 million for worthy causes, bringing the total amount since the race began in 1981 to more than £600 million.

This year, we will again be highlighting the efforts of runners from our patch taking part in the race.
