It’s child’s play to grow your own veg

-

Families enjoyed face painting, balloon modelling and much more at a family fun day at B&Q during half term.

The store hosted a day of activities, including planting workshops, where children and their parents learnt how to grow their own food and flowers.

Jason Saluci, unit manager at B&Q in Norman Road, Ashford, said: “It was great to see so many people from the local area visit us for our fun day and everyone got really stuck into the planting workshop.

“We hope we showed families how easy it is to grow your own vegetables and flowers, and we can’t wait to hear from our customers how well their plants have grown over the coming months.”
