The sea anglers in our region have been busy and the latest Southern Circuit match saw a tight finish at Dungeness, writes Wesley Shrubsole. The winner was Wesley Cheeseman with 10lb 3oz and just behind was Steve Richards (9lb 11oz) and Brian Smith (8lbs 3oz). Dabs pouting and flounders were caught. Dungeness juniors were on the wall at Littlestone, despite the bitter winds and were rewarded with a few fish. At Folkestone, Martin Walters anglers found the fish, with Rowan Lee the winner (9lb 6oz). Second was Andy Gainey (8lb 8oz), with Jacob Gainey (7lb 7oz). The lakes at Minster are producing some fine perch and Roland Wells-Collier had a three-fish haul, with the best over 3lb.
