Ashford men stay top of the Kent League after a double success at the weekend. They dropped only one point from a possible 20, beating Deangate Ridge 123-92 and Sevenoaks 145-92. Paul Roughton, John Rouse, Graham Stanley and Paul Scrivener were best rink performers with a 29-12 victory against Deansgate, while John Sadler, Paul Brabon, Keith Rich and Bradley Pounds won 38-7 against Sevenoaks. Linda Harper, Margaret Knight, Gill Hawkes and Mo Hayes won 28-12 as the ladies beat Thanet 131-107. They are away to Mote Park in Maidstone on Saturday, while the men host Bromley on Sunday.
