Week of activities in garden

Godinton House is holding a Spring Week next month.

It runs from Monday to Friday, April 10 to 14, with daily activities from 1pm to 4pm.

Highlights include a treasure hunt, children’s crafts and garden games set within the venue’s 13 acres of gardens.

The education room at the house in Godinton Lane will see artists and craftsmen dropping in during the week to display their skills.

Sessions include: Monday – Grow Your Own with Godinton gardeners; Tuesday – Eco-Art with Lorna Wyrill; Wednesday – Fun With Fabric by Mandy Munroe; Thursday – Creative Cards with Godinton staff and Friday – Clay Spring Animals with Brenda Burgess.

Viv Hunt, Godinton’s head gardener said: “The week is a lovely way for families to celebrate the spring season with us in the gardens.”

Refreshments will be available all week. Tickets are £5 for adults and £4 for children, including all activities.
