Families raise £13K for primary

-

A school in Ashford has received a huge sum of money from its Parents and Friends Association (PFA). Kingsnorth Primary School was presented with a cheque for £13,500.

The money was raised through events such as the Christmas fair, summer fete, school discos and fireworks.

It will be used to buy laptops, tablets, resources for the library and T-shirts for year R, and to fund school trips and a leavers’ party for Year Six pupils.

The group of enthusiastic parents is led by chairwoman Sally Banks.
