Kind and courageous get message across

-

Boys and girls were taught an important message of kindness at the weekend from their favourite princesses and superheroes.

Around 50 children attended the Have Courage and Be Kind anti-bullying event organised by Sugar Plum Princess Party Entertainment.

The musical and activity-led event was held at Aldington Village Hall on Saturday, featuring characters such as Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel and Spider-Man and Captain America.

Organiser Clare Babicz said: “It was a huge success. The children really listened and understood the message that was given to ‘have courage and be kind’.

“They enjoyed the singing and dancing, arts and crafts and meeting 10 characters.

“We also gave out information tools and merchandise supplied by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and we hope it helps.”
