Crufts win for Taffy

-

An Ashford dog has scooped a top prize at this year’s Crufts. Taffy, a three-year-old Border Collie, won the Kennel Club Novice Cup for large dogs at the prestigious dog show on Thursday, March 9. Proud owner, Nicole Turner, who has never competed at Crufts before, said: “It feels amazing to have won. Taffy is a rescue dog so to get anywhere really is quite amazing. “He’s a good boy and really well behaved - if I ask him to do something he does it. The arena floor was really good fun and had a great atmosphere.” Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club secretary, added: “Congratulations to Taffy and Nicole for an excellent performance at Crufts. “The Novice Cup is a wonderful competition and the pair wowed the crowd with their fantastic team work. “We wish them all the best for the future.”
