Sam Wilson’s treble eased Ashstone Galacticos to a 6-2 win at Stour Valley to see them return to the top for the first time in seven weeks.

The victory leaves the title race wide open with four teams involved.

Wilson’s treble takes his goal tally for the campaign to 46 in all competitions, with Dan Pinder, Shaun JenningsMcArdle and Tom Missing completing the scoring.

Liam Sheldon-Smith and Jordan Horne netted for Valley as they lost for the third successive game.

League Cup finalists White Horse went some way to avenge their cup final defeat a fortnight ago, winning 5-1 at Bromley Green.

They moved to within five points of top spot, with their fifth consecutive victory in a row and could guarantee second place, if they win their last four games.

Adam Herrington headed White Horse into a half-time lead before two red cards for the hosts opened up the game in the second-half. James Nuttall, Jack Bryan, Connell Baker and Josh Keeling, extended the lead, cancelling out Ryan Ford’s strike.

Tom Wilmshurst’s first half hat-trick eased Fox Sunday to their first league victory of the year, beating Kingsnorth Pilgrims 6-2.

Fox were 3-0 up in five minutes through Matt Dorsett, Wilmshurst and Craig Mannering. Stuart Margetson added the other, with Jack Bushell and Jon Marchant netting for Pilgrims.
