Hospital launches care for children

A private hospital in Ashford is offering a new healthcare service for children.

One Ashford Hospital, Kent’s newest private hospital, has a new paediatric service, focusing on the development of children, and the treatment and prevention of conditions and illnesses.

As it celebrates a year, the hospital, near the William Harvey Hospital, has consultant paedi- atricians and specialist nurses.

Consultant surgeons specialising in ENT, ophthalmology, urology, general surgery, gastroenterology and orthopaedics, see and treat children for surgery.

Paediatric lead nurse Femi Omowo said: “From the moment your child is admitted, they receive five-star treatment.
