Young people under 25 who love reading are asked to share their passion for books with children in libraries across Kent this summer. KCC is looking for volunteers to help children in the 2017 Summer Reading Challenge, an annual event to inspire new readers. Elizabeth Hunter, volunteer development co-ordinator, said: “It’s a way for volunteers to build their skills, improve their CVs, support their communities, meet new people and have fun.” To volunteer call 03000 416666.
