Bat & trap

Ashford & District Bat and Trap League hold their pre-season meeting on Wednesday. The number of teams involved has increased following a successful year in 2016, but any pubs, clubs or other groups who still wish to enter a team of six players or more, are invited to send a representative to the meeting at the British Rail Staff Association’s bowling green in Beaver Road, starting at 8pm. A £30 fee is required. Matches will be played on Friday evenings with the season starting on May 5. The league will be continuing to raise funds for local charities.
