Seapoint Canoe Centre are hosting a public consulation regarding their planned new building project on Saturday. The facility at the Royal Military Canal near Folkestone, includes an indoor training area and will replace shipping containers which have been used since their former home was sold to developers 10 years ago. The plans will be open for viewing between 1.30 and 4pm and senior coach Sam Whitlock said: “People’s perspective matters and we are issuing an invitation for them to come and see and discuss our plans, which will enable us to continue to show people the fun and finesse of paddlesport. “We have been teaching for 26 years on canal, river and sea.” Anyone interested in canoeing or kayaking can book a lesson for £ 5. Email info@ seapointcanoecentre.co.uk for information.
