Radislav Davidov’s sec­ond­half hat-trick helped Di­vi­sion 2 side Red Hea­thens up­set AFC Lo­co­mo­tive Re­serves as they came from be­hind to win 4-3 at Reach­fields on Sun­day.

Davidov’s treble earned his side their first tro­phy for 15 years, since they won the same com­pe­ti­tion back in 2002.

Luke Walder fired Loco in front af­ter only 90 sec­onds but Craig Haynes lev­elled from the spot soon af­ter.

Davidov put Hea­thens 2-1 up early in the sec­ond half be­fore Liam Whit­ing made it 2-2.

Hea­thens looked the bet­ter side as the game pro­gressed and got their re­ward when Davidov hit two more in quick suc­ces­sion.

Ryan Carter got Loco’s third to set-up an ex­cit­ing fin­ish but Hea­thens held on to end their long wait for sil­ver­ware. sea­son, hav­ing gone on to win the Char­ity Tro­phy and League Cup.
