They need to win their four re­main­ing games to leapfrog long-time lead­ers Ap­ple­dore to win the ti­tle.

Grove led through James Ross, be­fore Cava­liers re­sponded through Matt Moon and de­flected ef­forts by Chris Cle­ments and Jack Cossey.

Adam Bell­man scored twice as Mer­sham Sports Re­serves went fourth, beat Char­ing Sun­day Re­serves 4-2.

Luke God­dard’s penalty and Adam Feacey added the other two.
