Title-chasers Ashford Cavaliers moved third after a 3-1 win at Burton Grove.

They need to win their four remaining games to leapfrog long-time leaders Appledore to win the title.

Grove led through James Ross, before Cavaliers responded through Matt Moon and deflected efforts by Chris Clements and Jack Cossey.

Adam Bellman scored twice as Mersham Sports Reserves went fourth, beat Charing Sunday Reserves 4-2.

Luke Goddard’s penalty and Adam Feacey added the other two.

Clae Marshall and Steve Fuller, with his first goal for the club, netted for Charing. back to the top-of-the table.

The double-figure success took their tally to 100 in only 16 games.

Lee Dehara, Dan Pinder, Shaun Jennings-McArdle, Dave Jones and Leigh Hanger completed the rout, with Scott Evans grabbing Valley’s consolatio­n

Galacticos need only one more win from their two remaining games to clinch the title in only their second season in the league.

Joe Taylor’s own goal kept Aldington’s title ambitions alive for another week as they got the better of Fox Sunday winning 1-0.

Aldington stay third, one point behind Galacticos but have to rely on other results going their way if they are to earn a top-two finish due to their inferior goal difference.

Bromley Green won 3-0 at Kingsnorth Pilgrims in their final game.

League Cup winners Green will finish fourth after Levii Loyza’s double and Jake Asquith’s long-range effort.
