There is still time to enter a team for the highlight of the quiz calendar and compete for the KM Big Charity Quiz trophy and a range of top prizes.
The wine and wisdom evening is being staged by the KM Charity Team at the Ashford International Hotel on Saturday, July 8. Trivia boffins and quiz newcomers are invited to join Big Quiz heavyweights including reigning champions Supernova for a fun night out for charity.
One quick witted quiz-goer will have the chance to answer an on the spot question to win a pair of Eurostar tickets. Plus there’s a bumper raffle bursting with goodies including classic toys and collectables from Hornby.
Any organisation entering at least three teams will have a prize presented to the top team within their group. The brainiest team from the NHS and caring services will also receive a special prize and a further prize will go to the top team representing local government and schools.
Money raised through bookings, raffle tickets and the char- ity bar stocked by Shepherd Neame will go to the dementia appeal run by this paper’s charity of the year East Kent Hospitals Charity. Road safety and literacy services for children will also get a share of the charity pot.
Businesses supporting the quiz include Hallett and Co, Barclays and Specsavers. Representatives from Office Angels will be runners on the night to help the smooth running of the evening.

Each team of up to eight people will get a bottle of wine, water and nibbles for their table.
