Bishop opens spiritual garden

A supermarket has helped contribute a large sum to a green space in Ashford.

Tesco Park Farm and Tesco Crooksfoot were invited along to the grand opening of Ashford St Mary’s Primary School’s ‘spiritual garden’.

The school received £10,000 from the Tesco Bags Of Help Scheme to create the space.

The garden was officially opened by the Bishop of Dover, The Right Rev Trevor Wilmott. The Mayor of Ashford, Cllr Winston Michael, also attended.
