Money in the bag for charities

Tesco Extra Park Farm held a charity bag-packing event to raise money for Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation. The store was joined by Kingsnorth Primary School, Godinton Primary School, Hamstreet Primary School and Wyvern School. The schools each brought along a team of bag packers and the combined total for all schools was £421.33. Godinton school came in 1st Place winning a trophy, £50 gift card and a date to come back and raise money for a charity of their choice. Marie Russell, store community champion, said: “It was lovely seeing the children interacting with our customers and offering help with their packing for our two amazing charities.”
