Bradley Ray came back after a crash at the latest round of the British Superbike Championship in Scotland. The 20-year-old, from Lydd, qualified 13th at Knockhill for the Buildbase Suzuki team and made quick progress through the pack in race one. Ray was sixth with nine laps to go but crashed at turn seven and his Suzuki GSX-R1000 cartwheeled into the fencing. The bike was repaired in time for race two although Ray was pushed wide into the first turn. However, on lap 16, he was just half-a-second off the pace of race winner Jake Dixon, eventually crossing the line in 12th position. Ray is now 17th in the championship with 18 points ahead of the next round at Snetterton next weekend.
