Autism cinema

Ashford Cineworld is taking part in a project that provides autism-friendly cinema screenings. Around 250 cinemas across the UK are partnering up with Dimensions, a support provider for people with learning disabilities and autism, in order to provide an environment fit for them to enjoy films. Adjustments include the lights left on low, the volume turned down, no trailers and allowing visitors to move around freely. Cineworld cinemas show their autismfriendly screening on the first Sunday of every month; the next showing at Ashford Cineworld on the Eureka Leisure Park will be Captain Underpants on Sunday, August 6 at 11am.
