Join walking campaign to enter contest

-

Schools joining the KM Walk to School campaign could win storytelling sessions by a celebrated children’s author and a crafty CBeebies TV presenter.

Participants in the green travel schemes Active Wow and Green Footsteps, run by the KM Charity Team, will be eligible to join in a walk to school contest in October. One lucky school will receive a story time visit from Nick Butterworth, author of the popular Percy the Park Keeper and Q Pootle 5 series.

Another competition staged in February will offer a visit from arts and crafts maestro Phil Gallagher from CBeebies’ Mister Maker as the top prize.

Schools can join using their Primary School Sport Premium grant and bookings received before the summer holidays will receive a 20% price discount plus entry into a prize draw to win Eurostar vouchers.
