Join walk­ing cam­paign to en­ter con­test

Schools join­ing the KM Walk to School cam­paign could win sto­ry­telling ses­sions by a cel­e­brated chil­dren’s au­thor and a crafty CBee­bies TV pre­sen­ter.

Par­tic­i­pants in the green travel schemes Ac­tive Wow and Green Foot­steps, run by the KM Char­ity Team, will be el­i­gi­ble to join in a walk to school con­test in Oc­to­ber. One lucky school will re­ceive a story time visit from Nick But­ter­worth, au­thor of the pop­u­lar Percy the Park Keeper and Q Poo­tle 5 se­ries.

An­other com­pe­ti­tion staged in Fe­bru­ary will of­fer a visit from arts and crafts mae­stro Phil Gal­lagher from CBee­bies’ Mis­ter Maker as the top prize.

Schools can join us­ing their Pri­mary School Sport Premium grant and book­ings re­ceived be­fore the sum­mer hol­i­days will re­ceive a 20% price dis­count plus en­try into a prize draw to win Eurostar vouch­ers.
