Youngsters have puppy love

Ashford Beavers have been busy over the past few weeks raising money for Guide Dogs.

The group, which is made up of six to eight year olds, is working hard towards getting their disability awareness badge.

The children did a sponsored 2k walk around Victoria Park on Wednesday, June 28 where they raised £344 for Guide Dogs which means they are able to sponsor three puppies.

Then the following Wednesday, the Beavers were lucky enough to meet Noah a puppy in training.

Guide Dogs puppy walker and Ambassador, Susie New, thanked the children for all their hard work and talked to the Beavers about the work of the Guide Dogs charity.
