Young­sters have puppy love

Ash­ford Beavers have been busy over the past few weeks rais­ing money for Guide Dogs.

The group, which is made up of six to eight year olds, is work­ing hard to­wards get­ting their dis­abil­ity aware­ness badge.

The chil­dren did a spon­sored 2k walk around Vic­to­ria Park on Wed­nes­day, June 28 where they raised £344 for Guide Dogs which means they are able to spon­sor three pup­pies.

Then the fol­low­ing Wed­nes­day, the Beavers were lucky enough to meet Noah a puppy in train­ing.

Guide Dogs puppy walker and Am­bas­sador, Susie New, thanked the chil­dren for all their hard work and talked to the Beavers about the work of the Guide Dogs char­ity.
