Lee Buckman continued his winning form with victory in the Rye Wheelers 10-mile TT on Friday. The Ashford Wheeler followed up his course record 25-mile success of the previous week, winning in 21min 51sec, finishing ahead of clubmates Andy Branson (22.59) and Mick Claydon (24.19). Jon Hollidge was fifth in 25.13 and Andy Cornwell seventh in 26.36. Les Newman claimed a personal best of 1:21.18 in the Gravesend CC 25 TT over the Molash course on Sunday. Buckman led home the Ashford contingent in 13th place(57.38). Other finishers were Stewart King 22nd (1:00.26), Colin Woolard 26th (1:01.21), Mick Claydon 27th (1:01.52), Mike Newman 28th (1:02.27 and Andy Cornwell 42nd (1.09.02).
