Matt Ford hit 121 to help Brookland maintain their Division 4 title challenge with a 161-run win over Wingham 2nds. He led his side to an impressive total of 281-3 in 40 overs, with Bradley Harper making 76. Jack Savage took 3-23 in Wingham’s 120 all-out. David Harman was another century maker with 111 (15 fours and a six) as Mersham Sports (249-3) beat Horton Kirby (187) by 62 runs. Skipper Luke Laws made an unbeaten ton (16 fours) as Kingsnorth (162-0) won by 10-wickets at home to Teston (160-9). John Hughes finished on 53 not out. Skipper Owen Piper hit 30 off 27 balls as Stone-in-Oxney (89-8) edged home by two wickets (88) in Division 1 against Harbledown. The Canterbury side had been reduced to 37-6 at one stage. Scott Freeman (4-23) and Henry Pelling-Smith (3-12) were among the wickets for Stone-inOxney. Ben Daking (44) top scored for Egerton (seven fours and a six off 49 balls) in their 145-9 but the visitors lost by seven wickets at Wingham (149-3). Skipper Mark Paine hit 40 as Woodchurch (101) lost by 55 runs at Littlebourne (156). Matt Barnes made 71 as Wye (200) lost by 35 runs at Ash (235). Former Kent and England wicketkeeper Geraint Jones hit 45 and took two wickets for the home side. Daniel Bland hit 11 fours in his 54 as Elham Valley (193-9) lost by six wickets at Leeds & Broomfield (200-4). Stephen Jackson hit eight fours and three sixes in 63 off 47 balls as Division 2 leaders Stowting (212) beat Mersham Le Hatch (203-9) by nine runs. Craig Harding struck seven fours and a six in his run-a-ball 50. David Khan top scored for Mersham with 50 (five fours and three sixes). Daniel Peach took 5-39 for Challock (94), who lost by 43 runs at Worth (137). Jason Wall made 67 as Selsted (176-8) went down by seven wickets at home to Borstal (177-3). Gary Sutton hit eight fours in his 33 not out as Pluckley (143-3) beat Frindsbury (138) by seven wickets in Division 3. Opener Les Milton (41) and No.10 bat Dave Riley (40) led Charing’s scoring in a total of 193, as they lost to Staplehurst (304-6) by 111 runs. Skipper Ben Moyle made 38 for Great Chart (143) in their 62-run defeat at Bredgar. In Division 5, Trevelyan Nicholas (96, with nine fours and three sixes) and Will Burton (87 not out, with eight fours and five sixes) saw Bilsington (252-5) home by five-wickets at Boughton-underBlean (249-9). Little Chart’s Craig Taylor (4-15) and Harrison Pack (4-28) helped bowl out St Nicholas & Sarre for only 46. Chart struggled for runs as well, finishing on 50-5. Rolvenden (188-7) lost by seven wickets at Exiles at Stelling Minnis (192-7).
