Scott Freeman took 6-19 as Stonein-Oxney rushed to an eight-wicket Division 1 win at Elham Valley.

Valley skipper Jamon Lowis top scored with 21 but opposite number Freeman did most of the damage as the hosts were shot out for only 53.

James Norton hit 27 for Stone who needed less than 13 overs to reach their target.

Andrew Pask hit six fours and five sixes in his 82-ball 76, as Egerton let a winning position slip in a three-run defeat at Ash.

Needing 173 to win, they reached 167-5, only to lose four wickets for two runs, finishing on 169-9.

Max Campbell (44) top scored for second-bottom Wye (143) in their seven-wicket defeat at home to Bapchild (144-3).

In Division 2, Alex Markwick top scored with 41 as Mersham-LeHatch (192) beat Selsted (141) by 51 runs.

Smarden, whose skipper Tom Berry made 40 out of a total of 125-9, lost by 150 runs at Borstal (275-6).

Leaders Stowting were without a game as opponents Leybourne quit the league before the start of the season. Neil Picton (4-14) and Jamie Williams (4-19) helped bowl out Bearsted for only 71, as Great Chart (72-3) eased home by seven wickets.

Jake Symonds top scored with 29 as Pluckley (119-7) lost by the same margin at Addington Village.

Tim Chambers (79) and Neal Watts (60) batted Charing (197-3) to their first win, a sevenwicke­t success against Holcombe & Blue Bell Hill (196-5).

In Division 4, David Harman (95 not out) and Tom Butt (71 not out) steered Mersham Sports to 256-2, as they beat Norton Sports (155) by 101 runs. OIiver Pugh and Alan Stevens both finished with figures of 3-11.

Leaders Brookland (114-1) won by nine wickets at Kings Hill (113).

Skipper Luke Laws hit 57 as Kingsnorth (154-7) lost by eight runs at Harrietsha­m (162-9).

Little Chart’s Craig Taylor took 7-31 as Bilsington tumbled to 58 all-out, losing by 107 runs.

Chart’s Harrison Pack and skipper Christophe­r Eccles both hit 38 in their total of 165.

James Isles hit 53 for Kennington (165-6), who won by four wickets at Sturry (164-8) in Division 6.
