HOCKEY CLUB ACT AS STOP-OFF POINT IN CHARITY CYCLE RIDE TO PARIS

Ashford Hockey Club will act as a lunchtime stop-off point for around 300 cyclists taking part in the Royal British Legion’s ‘Pedal to Paris’ sponsored ride next week.

They are due to arrive at Ball Lane in Kennington around noon next Thursday, in order to recharge their batteries for a couple of hours, having travelled from London in the morning.

‘Pedal to Paris’ is the only cycling event, apart from the Tour de France, that the French monument closes for and all funds raised will support the British Armed Forces community.
