National success

Ashford Netball League side Breakaways triumphed in the final of a tournament in Great Yarmouth at the weekend. Thirty-one teams congregated from around the country, competing across two days. Breakaways sailed through the first day, winning every match to secure a place in the cup competition on Sunday. They started the following day strongly again, easing through to the the final, winning all but one game, when they were edged out by one goal against Essex Wanderers. However, in the final, Breakaways got their revenge over Wanderers, winning 11-4 to clinch the trophy.
