Seconds lose

Ashford ladies’ 2nds lost 2-0 at Gravesend 1sts in Women’s Kent League, Division 1. The midfield worked hard with Jo Thompson named player-of-the-match, while Debs Gurr did well in goal and Abbie Bean and Laura Brightling got away some good strikes up front. The 3rds lost 5-0 at home to Edenbridge in Division 2. Defender CJ Friend earned her the playerof-the match vote, while Ginny Bozeat and Matilda Forbes produced some good channelling and interceptions. Dani Burnikell and Kate Horton also played well with Katie McDonnell making a string of saves.
