Tenterden Town reached the Kent Junior Cup Group A final with a 3-0 win against Rochester League side Mackland Arms at Homewood School.
Justin Howard gave the home side the lead in Saturday’s semifinal with a 30-yard effort on 15 minutes.
The advantage was doubled two minutes later when skipper Jordan King found himself in space to release Ryan Vaughan who made no mistake.
Some excellent saves from Dens keeper Dean Bate ensured the half finished 2-0.
Mackland Arms started the second half the brighter of the two sides and had the majority of possession but could not find their way past Bate in the Dens goal.
King put the tie to bed with 10 minutes to go when he capitalised on a defensive error and slotted the ball into an empty net.
Tenterden will face New Eltham-based Red Velvet in the final at the Gallagher Stadium, Maidstone, on Saturday, April 13.
In the Premier Division, Billy Wier-Somerville scored the goal that gave New Romney a 1-0 win against Stansfeld.
Lydd Town Reserves lost 4-3 at Hollands & Blair Reserves in Division 1 Central & East.
A first half header from Matt Forster and two well taken goals from Riley Alford helped leaders Ashford to a 3-0 victory at Bearsted to move nine points clear at the top of the Division 2 Central & East table.
The Steamers now only require three more points to be certain of landing the title, and can lift the trophy with another win next weekend at home to West Farleigh.
Manager Lee James was forced to shuffle the pack due to in-form defender Kieran Shrimpton picking up a hamstring injury.
Shqipron Ahmetaj played centre-back alongside former Bears player Jamie Hurst in a makeshift defence.
And the new partnership worked well as along with impressive full-back duo Riece Annand and Ryan Prior.
The deadlock wasn’t broken until two minutes before the break when Jordan Griffin got a shot away that beat Bearsted keeper Ben Cornelius but bounced back off of the crossbar, only for Matt Forster to head in the rebound.
Ashford were much more direct in the second half and doubled their lead 10 minutes after the interval when Annand played a low cross into the penalty area from the right which was helped on by Griffin into the path of Riley Alford, who made no mistake.
Alford and Griffin linked up well going forward and with the introduction of Mark Howells and Tommy Wilkes from the bench only saw Ashford further dominate play in the midfield area.
The victory was sealed 17 minutes from time when Griffin claimed his third assist of the match, when he played in Alford for his second goal.
